I like to run.
I like birds.
I'm a graduate student at Cornell University studying animal behavior. Birds became one of my passions when I followed in my father's footsteps by pursuing wildlife photography as a hobby. Birds were the easiest animal to photograph around my Indiana home and from there I discovered research as a career at Indiana University. After a stint of field jobs in New Hampshire, Virginia, and Louisiana, I'm currently living in Ithaca, New York and conducting field research in Australia.
